Pioneering Excellence in Diagnostic Services Since 2003

Metro Scans and Laboratory was founded on August 17, 2003, marking a new era in medical diagnostics in Kerala’s capital. From day one, we set out to redefine diagnostic services with a focus on quality and consistency, especially in the emerging field of medical imaging. By introducing the latest technology and a full spectrum of diagnostic services under one roof, we offered a revolutionary experience to the residents of Trivandrum, who have supported us with enthusiasm throughout the years.

Today, we are recognized as pioneers in medical radiology imaging and diagnostic services in South Kerala, respected by the medical community and trusted by our patients. We have achieved this through the timely deployment of cutting-edge technologies and by employing top-notch professionals dedicated to providing the highest standards of medical imaging and diagnosis.

Metro Scans and Laboratory is certified to ISO 9001:2008 standards and has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for several years. Our centres are also approved by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala, for medical reimbursement for government officials (G.O (P) No. 75/2018/H&FWD dated 17.05.2018). We are recognized by ESI, NIIST, LIC, and various other insurance companies and corporations.

State-of-the-Art Facilities Across Kerala

With 15 well-established centers across Kerala, Metro Scans and Laboratory offers unparalleled access to diagnostic care. Four of our centers, located in Trivandrum, Kollam, Kottarakkara, Karunagapally are equipped with 1.5T MRI facilities. We also operate the first and only 3T MRI facility as a standalone diagnostic center in South Kerala at Pioneer Metro Scans, Trivandrum. Additionally, we manage four radiology centers attached to prominent hospitals.
